Welcome to City of Derby Academy Year 6 students and your families,
We appreciate that coming to ‘big school’ is exciting and for some a little scary. We have spent the last month speaking to many of your teachers and reading lots about you and we can’t wait to see you in person. This page has been set up so that, until we do meet you and your parents, you can find out lots about CODA and ask any questions you have. We will update the information on here regularly and add any FAQs that you have.
Current Year 6 students are unlikely to be able to follow the usual transition programme into CoDA but rest assured, we will continue to do everything we can to ensure your child’s transfer from Year 6 to Year 7 is as smooth as possible. That will include inviting you into school for tours and ‘meet the teacher’ sessions. Until then please feel free to contact us with any questions.
