Research has proven that when parents and schools work together this significantly improves academic outcomes and, as we approach the end of your child’s first year at CoDA, discussing the progress of your child with their teachers will support them to build on the foundation they have laid in year 7.

We are delighted to be able to open our doors and hold face-to-face conversations with parents of year 7 pupils for the first time, and we will be returning to our previous model of parents visiting teachers in their classrooms and experiencing the learning environment we provide (having previously been using video calls). At the evening you will be able to talk to your child’s teachers about the way they have settled into secondary school, the progress they have made in each subject and how they can build on that as they move into year 8.

Your child will be required to make appointments with all of their subject teachers to give you the opportunity to meet them and review your child’s progress. We will explain the appointment booking process with students in school.
