Year 10 Parents’ Evening
Research has proven that when parents and schools work together this significantly improves examination outcomes and, as we approach the halfway point of your child’s GCSE course, discussing the progress of your child with their teachers will support exam success.
We are delighted to be able to open our doors and hold face-to-face conversations with parents for the first time since early 2020, and we will be returning to our previous model of parents visiting teachers in their classrooms and experiencing the learning environment we provide. We are confident this will increase the focus on learning and the improve the quality of feedback you receive on your child’s performance in school, compared to online video calls. At the evening you will be able to talk to your child’s teachers about the upcoming mock exams, effective revision strategies and what you can do to support your child to be successful as they move into their final year at CoDA.
Your child will be required to make appointments with all of their subject teachers to give you the opportunity to meet them and review your child’s progress. We will explain the appointment booking process with students in school.
We look forward to seeing you on the 25th May.
