This weekend, 10 of our cadets attended Beckingham Ranges to take part in live firing with the L98 GP rifle. The day provided a valuable opportunity to develop marksmanship skills, discipline, and confidence in a safe and controlled training environment.

All cadets successfully completed their 2★ shooting classification, demonstrating strong focus and commitment throughout. It was particularly pleasing to see the level of progress made across the group.

In addition, our Year 11 cadets made the most of the day by fitting in some “tactical revision” for their upcoming GCSE exams between shoots – a great example of balancing academic priorities alongside cadet commitments.

Following such a productive day, the group are already looking ahead to further live firing opportunities at Summer Camp.
