At the City of Derby Academy we work very hard to support all our pupils including those with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND). We work closely with our parents, partner primary schools and professionals from a range of support services to ensure we have a thorough understanding of the individual needs of our pupils on entry.
Once at the Academy, we provide a range of strategies including:
- individual support within the classroom
- a curriculum catering for each child’s needs
